PRAISE

• Thank the Lord for combined pledges and donations reaching almost 50% of the production funding target.
• Thank the Lord for Patrick and Jennie Fung speaking and sharing the vision in many places and for Jennie’s return to the board after her sabbatical.
• We praise God for Jon Fuller’s service as Deputy Chair during Jennie’s sabbatical and his willingness to fill the Vice Board Chair position. This is especially crucial as we work towards our goal of raising full funding for the production of the movie by December 31, 2024.
• Thank the Lord for timely donations to the Development Fund, enabling our full team to continue serving on the movie project for the next four months.
• We are thankful for new connections and networking opportunities in Asia and the US. Pray that many of these connections will lead to purposeful partnerships.

PRAYER

• Ask God for the provision of the remaining $3.5 million (USD) needed to begin production of the Hudson Taylor movie next year.
• Pray for vision-sharing meetings: Denver, Colorado, US in mid-September; and Hong Kong in the beginning of November. Pray that those who attend may catch the vision for the movie project, join in persistent prayers, and be involved as God leads.
• Pray that those who would like to give might not be intimidated by the large amount needed. May God guide us to use every dollar, in whatever currency, to make this movie that can impact the lives of millions.
• Pray that God would raise up more people to pray for this project – especially in Chinese-speaking communities and networks within the film industry.
• Ask the Lord to provide wisdom and guidance for our leadership as they gather information, form plans, and seek partnerships.
