Half Crown Media, in partnership with OMF International, is preparing to begin production in 2025 on a feature film based on the life of Hudson Taylor and Maria. Affirming the Lord’s provision of $3.6 million through generous donations and pledges, three long-standing supporters of the project have committed to underwrite the remainder of the $7 million needed by December 31, 2024. They are inviting others to join them in contributing before the end of the year towards sharing Hudson Taylor’s transformative story around the world. Together, we can see a high-quality production move quickly ahead.
While we celebrate the completion of the development stage, including the script and funding, there are still many faith challenges ahead as we strategize film production plans. Just as God has led us through script development and has provided funding, we are trusting him for these next steps. As Taylor famously said, “God’s work, done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.”
