Half Crown Media held two virtual Vision Sharing meetings featuring Dr. Patrick Fung, General Director of OMF and Rev James Hudson Taylor IV, a direct descendent of James Hudson Taylor. More than 150 leaders from mission organizations attended via Zoom from East Asia, the Americas, Europe and beyond.
Dr. Fung said that the Hudson Taylor movie is only one part of a much larger vision: “To see a missional discipleship movement through storytelling, in partnership with churches and organizations around the world.” As part of that, he says that “Storytelling is a powerful way to impact this generation. A movie will take this story into the hearts of young adults today.”
The Half Crown Media leadership team interacted with the participants possible partnership to respond to the viewers as God touches their hearts through the movie when it is made and distributed.

Quoting the prayer of Hudson Taylor when he founded the China Inland Mission, Rev Taylor called for “willing and skillful” workers, not just for the movie project but for God’s purposes.
