APPLAUSE
- Praise God for good connections made at the two meetings in Sydney.
- We are also grateful for ongoing discussions with a potential new board member with business and networking experience.
- Thank God that the Chinese Coordinating Centre of World Evangelization and the Chinese Evangelical Seminary have agreed to cohost a series of meetings with OMF Taiwan and Half Crown Media in early March 2024 to commemorate the 170th anniversary of Hudson Taylor’s arrival in China.
APPROACH
- Please pray for the initial planning sessions in early October for the March 2024 Taiwan meetings.
- Rev Dr Patrick Fung’s project presentations on October 27th and 29th in Hong Kong to some family foundations that we first connected with in August.
- We seek God’s strength and enabling for the executive team and the board. Please remember in particular our CEO Soo Loh as she takes a three months’ sabbatical, for her refreshment and renewal to prepare for exciting developments ahead.
- We also need wisdom to explore ways of receiving donations and for our current review of mobilization tools and materials. Please pray for creative approaches, clear focus and good engagement with different audience groups.
