APPLAUSE
- Praise God for new and good connections made at Arise Asia (Thailand), Hong Kong and Taiwan as well as an online German speaking group that started to pray regularly for the project since last month.
- We are also thankful for the Lord’s leading as we seek to add to our project team.
APPROACH
- Please pray for good follow-up with various contacts made at Arise Asia…etc and fruitful planning meetings— Rev Dr Patrick Fung’s September 1st meeting to prepare for an end October gathering in Hong Kong and another initial meeting for a series of vision sharing events in March 2024, Taiwan.
- We also continue to seek God’s timely provision of the funds for movie production and for project personnel. We are seeking a Project Manager, a Volunteer Coordinator, a Mobilization Coordinator and new Board Members. This month, we are also looking for a videographer to record the vision-sharing meetings in Sydney. Discernment about partnership development in production and post-movie follow-up is also needed.
- Please also remember our CEO Soo Loh on her trip to Asia (till mid September) to make strategic connections and Director of Partnerships and Development Ken Haron’s attendance at the MissioNexus Shift Conference late this month to connect and listen to mission leaders from diverse organizations.
ACTIVITIES AHEAD
- September 4-6: Sing! Getty Music Worship Conference in Nashville, TN (US). Rev Dr Patrick Fung was interviewed about the project and also spoke at a workshop. Ken Haron and some OMF USA personnel were also present to make connections and respond to project inquiries.
- September 22-23: Sydney (Australia) vision-sharing meetings in Cantonese and English.
- October 27-29: Potential meeting with some HK families and foundations.
